Kids always want to play on these

I haven't posted much in the last 6 months because:

*we've had such slow internet connection

* the kids took a while to settle in at grandma and grandpa's... trial-some behaviour

*i had a couple of months that I was really tired

*I was lucky to get a nice little teaching job for three days a week which really kept me on my toes and was such a blessing but made me miss time with my children. That was tiring too!

*i had to take and pick up Nick from the airport every week (we're never ever doing this again!)

*i was called into yw's

After a crazy couple of weeks we are now in Brisbane staying with Nanny and Pa, I am saying "I don't know what to do". So here I am updating my blog and thinking about getting a book to read :)

Visitors

Here are a couple of visitors we had while living at mum and dads. Yes it's a Tiger snake which the kids spotted from their bedroom window. I did not leave the house till the animal rescue guy took her away because she was right between the front and back door....ew!

A long, long, long, long time ago

We went back to Brisbane for Nick's graduation and to see our new little niece Lily. She was so beautiful. The last 3 years of study has finally paid off!!!! Nick is now Dr Nick.... but as if he would ever use that title!

Scarlett and Ollie had the best teachers at kindy and preschool

.....we packed up our stuff and said our goodbyes then headed south for the winter!
I will have to leave details for another post... Lets just say things have been quite hectic for a while.

Scarlett did two drawings in primary today. I am not sure how they tied in with the lesson but she has certainly got a thing about drawing her family latley

this morning

Ollie playing with two coat hangers. One coat hanger is a digger and the other is a truck. The conversation went like this....digger: "what's wrong......." truck:"I have a rash on my bum" digger: "ohhhh".

colours

Scarlett has been busy, busy, busy drawing lately. One morning while Nick and I were still snoozing Scarlie came in with this picture of our family. The purple blob at the top was added a few days later! I have also been sorting through my school resources. I've decided to keep one copy of each activity! Scarlett and Ollie have had lots of fun colouring. She didn't want to colour all purple though... rainbow is a lot more fun!

this week....

We played this game of soccer last Saturday. I didn't have a lot of energy that game and then for most of the week I have been sick along with Scarlett and Ollie. Nick is complaining tonight of feeling sick as well. So pretty much this week I have been resting, stressing about packing and doing ditsy things! Two weeks of packing coming up... the time has gone way too fast and I'm freaking out! We won our soccer game today and I had so much energy... hope the energy thing continues! Everyone got a ripping about soccer training aunty Chels. Shame you weren't here this week!

what is this?

Not exactly sure whether this is a grasshopper or something else but it was sitting on our kitchen window one night. It was pretty big and it's stomach was moving. Looked gross ... thought that it maybe pregnant.

Nick's Birthday

Nick's birthday was on Friday. Julia made him a cake which she gave him yesterday.

a bit of easter

Easter bunny came to our house a couple of weeks ago. We left him a carrot and some yummy orange/carrot juice just in case he was thirsty. In return the Easter bunny left some chocolate bunnies and PJ's. So glad it's over and all the chocolate in gone from our fridge!

This is what our kids look like after swimming walking through Westfield. Scarlett's bestie Elina came to watch with nanny. These are for you Batman.... ooops... I mean minol!

Party in the past
