Yay....

I'm an aunty! Essie had a baby boy on Saturday. His name is Minol Sebastian and he is a little cutie. I wish I could be there to have a cuddle! Hopefully we will get down to Tassie soon so the kids can meet their new cousin.

On the same day I had my first game of Soccer for the season. I am so unfit and was not happy playing in the hot sun! We were three players down too which didn't help! Puddy's team lost too. I would be surprised if they win any games this year. They are playing div 2! We on the other hand are playing a lower division but we have a lot of players new to the sport. Wish us luck for next week!!!

Easter Fun

This is Scarlett in the bath. Nick had her hair sticking up like a character from Dr Seuss, but of course it fell down just as the camera arrived. Unfortunately there was no getting it back!

Nick came home today and told me how terrible my Blog writing is. I'm sorry about all the grammatical errors everyone! At least I can't go wrong with the spelling!! Nick will just have to edit my posts because I don't have the time or energy to think about what I am writing!!

What a Week

wLast week I have made a conscious effort to eat healthier. This array of colourful veges made a very yummy vegetable soup.

For those of you who don't know.... I am not a big fruit girl. I love all those expensive fruits...raspberries, apricots, plums, greengages, strawberries....any berries, YUM! I struggle to apples, pairs, oranges etc. But I am finally making an effort.......SEE!

I had to post this picture of Ollie with his bag!! He looked so funny and was totally suprised that I took a picture of him being a big girl!!!

A few days ago I reversed down the driveway and tore down a huge web that was partly attached to a tree and the ground. It was huge. Everyday I have been outside I have seen this web with no one home. Nick was outside last night and finally spotted the owner of the web. Isn't she huge. Nick went out and sprayed it with fly spray last night. I told him it doesn't kill spiders. I have heard they hold their breath. Unfortunately he was out there again tonight fixing a hole in her web. It was fascinating to watch, just wish she wasn't so ugly. This is really weird for someone who totally freaks out when they see a spider in the house, but I told Nick to leave her alone. He looked he up on the net and she is a harmless garden spider who hides during the day and comes out at night. I don't think she will be coming inside any time soon!!!! Better not anyway!!!!!!! What do you think Bride? Uglier than yours??


OK, after starting my healthy eating (not a lot of chocolate) guess what we got in the mail. A wonderful package with lots of goodies including these!! They are yummy! Yes mum! We've all eaten a few. The earrings are beautiful!



Here is my little munchkin. At the end of last week Scarlett and I both got sick. NOt as sick as you Janell! Anyway, Scarlett has had high temps and on Friday night my ear blocked. I was getting pretty sick of being deaf in one ear so I decided to go to the doctor on Saturday morning. We both ended up having to take antibiotics! Unfortunately, after almost having a fight to get them into her, we went back to the doctor this morning to find out she was allergic to them. Check out the rash! She's been pretty cranky and whingy over the past few days.... can't wait till she's better!

Sticky Beak

Ollie has a new favourite past time.......getting up on his knees!! He loves looking at himself in the mirror and looking out the window. He's such a poser! I remember when Scarlett started standing up in her cot. In the beginning it was such a novelty that she would rather play than go to sleep. Well... deja vu........ feels like it's happening again!!

We have found a few interesting little friends hanging around our home lately. Last week on our way out we saw this blue tongue lizard sitting on our front lawn. I also found this interesting insect on the light switch. Wonder what it is..... anyone know?

Today we went for a swim at the Sunnybank pool. It was lots of fun and Ollie had a swim too! They even had bubbles in one section like a spa....shame it wasn't heated!! The regulars that Scarlett played with were, Madison, Madson, Lachlan and Harrison. We had a great day apart from Scarlett nearly going back in the water when I was dressed! She has been a pain in the bum all day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Flowers

Look at what we found in the spare room Gaga!....... Scarlett made Grandpa and Gaga a picture when they came up last and they forgot to take it home with them!! Would you like us to bring it down next time we come? The other flowers are little broaches I made to go with a denim skirt I made Scarlett the other day. Pud left her box of material here and we found jean cut off's ..... made it heaps easy to sew as I didn't have to hem!! Going to make her some more cord skirts soon too.

Ollie update

Yep....this is Ollie SITTING. He has just started sitting on his own and he is crawling around like a bullet.... straight to the computer cords! He was 7 months yesterday. Boy time is flying! Just in case your wondering what that is on the TV, it's Bjork!

It's gonna fit

I need to publicly announce that my engagement ring has not fit my finger since I had Ollie and I am finally going to do something about it!! There is the option to get it resized.....but I think I will save the money reduce the size of my fingers and maybe some other parts of my body! I have been meaning to do this for a long time now but just been tired and unmotivated. This is it! I will keep you posted....

I Wish

I wish were back holidaying in NZ! This is Franz Josef and Fox Glaciers. We couldn't touch the Franz Josef Glacier because of the weather but I think Nick and Scarlett got pretty close to Fox. Scarlett walked with her umbrella the whole 15 min to the Glacier and all the way back!! Wouldn't let me help at all!

SPIDERS!

Yes, this is a spider that I squished on our wall. It is not the first! I have counted about 20 spiders in the last month! We are FINALLY getting the house sprayed next week... Hooray! Luckily all those other ugly creatures like cockroaches will disappear too!
