It's my birthday today...

 Well it was really my birthday on Saturday.  Here are the kids attempting to eat something healthy.!

 Nick surprised me with a camera.  The camera that we bought when Scarlett was born died about three years ago.I have been snapping with my phone and stealing other peoples shots ever since.  Recently I mentioned to Nick that it would be nice to have a good camera for when the baby was born. So how lucky am I!!  It might take a while to read the manual though! Hope I get some of it read before the baby is born!!

 Ha Ha Nick!! You need to be careful when making silly faces because it has ended up on my blog!!!

Babies

 21-22 weeks

I have never taken photos of my pregnancies but decided this time it wouldn't be so bad.

 25 weeks  I'm not looking forward to getting bigger than this!!

How clean is that mirror?  I have no idea how smudgy hands got that far up!

 Here is a picture to prove that Ollie can draw.  I started to worry just a little when Ollie would always refuse to draw, paint or do anything crafty with me.  Out of the blue he drew this person at a friends house.  I was so excited! 

On the subject of babies... one morning while we were all sleeping Scarlett got up and drew a series baby pictures. Can you work out what they are and what they say?

We headed up to Brisbane for the school holidays to visit our family.  We had beautiful weather so we were able to get out and enjoy the sunshine.  We saw Yo Gabba Gabba at Westfield, watched a lot of rugby, got to know our littlest cousin/ niece who we hadn't seen since she was born, play at the beach and spend time with our cousins. And more to come..... 

I Promise

 Oh my goodness it's been a while since I have updated this blog. I have a really, really good reason why I have not been bothered to take photo's let alone update.  As you have probably guessed by the pictures I am pregnant!....17 weeks to be exact.  I don't know how I got through the sickness of the first trimester all I know is that I am trying to forget the details!!  Nick was amazing, but he had to be because there was no nanny or grandma around to help.  I do recall Scarlett coming home with navy blue track pants on instead of black a few times!  After the morning sickness we each had a turn at the winter viruses, infections, vertigo etc.  It all seems to be over YAY!... except for Scarlett who decided to throw up three times during last night!  I am exceptionally tired today and am hoping  it doesn't hit us all mainly because we're off to Brisbane on Wednesday for a fantastic couple of weeks catching up with family and friends. 

So I have PROMISED myself that I will at least update my blog once a week from now on.....or when we get back from our holiday.  :-)

whats been happening....

Last 3 weeks..... Kids r us, three birthday parties (two in one week) , broken computer, library visit to loan "raising boys", colds, playgroup, more colds and a redback spider dangling in our loungeroom alive!!!! NOT happy! Not great pictures at the moment :( Ok off to the library and then later scarlie to the doctor with a sore throat and barking cough.
