some stuff...

Farewell Naomi! Our friend Naomi has finally finished Uni and has scored herself a teaching position in Cairns...... well up there somewhere! We will miss her. She is an awesome tennis player. Now I will have no one to call on when I have the urge to have a hit!!
Jump Ollie Jump!! Here is our little Jolly Jumper having a go for the first time. He loves it. I remember Scarlett wasn't so sure of bouncing around and got sick of it pretty quickly. Ollie is so different to Scarlett in so many ways!!

rascal!

Here is the little rascal! Scarlett is in her own bed now. She is pretty good at staying in it at night and going to sleep. Unfortunately her toys can be a bit of a distraction!! I went to check on her and I saw a red light coming from the shower. I opened it up and there was the little miss playing with her night light glowing. We have moved Scarlett into another room now with NO toys and the room which once was hers is now the toy room.
Sam, Jarred and Lily came for tea on Saturday night. It was so much fun! Nick cooked a roast. We had to wait for ages but it was so good! You must try Nigela Lawson's Sticky garlic roast potatoes. Lily and Scarlett had a lovely time playing in the wood chips from the tree we got chopped until they started throwing it!!!
bickies and bu-fwies

Scarlett did some painting yesterday. This is the first time she has done painting at home and she was a pro! She was into the dot thing and we made some butterflies. Today we made some bickies. I didn't have any eggs so I had to find a recipe without them. These melting moments are thanks to Toni Coward who pops recipes on her blog. They were really easy and look cute! Thanks Toni! (If she doesn't read this could someone please pass it on)

Milford Sound
Mt Cook....Part 2

We stayed at a lodge at Mt Cook. It was really nice and had a view of the mountain. Unfortunately we did not see the Mt Cook at all. It was covered the whole time! Nick had a lot of hope that it would clear up before we left!! Scarlett and I were going to go on a glacier boat ride but the water froze and they could not get the boat in the water. I was pretty disappointed but got over it!
