coolum

On the long weekend a few weeks ago Nick suprised me with a weekend away. We havn't been away since we got married! We stayed at the Coolum Seaside apartments on the sunshine coast. Look pretty swish don't they? They were really nice and i wished we could stay there longer. Two nights is better than nothing though!Nick and Scarlett had a swim in the pool. I had a spa because it was warmer!

Look....Big TV!
We went to Noosa for tea. The sunset was beautiful.

At the Hogs Breath Cafe for tea. Scarlett had a colour and was not too happy with Nick eating her spring rolls.

On the Monday we went to Perigian Beach before heading home. It was a very warm day and Scarlett didnt want to leave the water. Silly me didnt roll my jeans up enough and I got wet! Had to change in the car! That's my pregnancy brain at the moment. Im getting soooooo ditsy!

Tassie

Yay we went to Grandma and Grandpas for a week and had a wonderful time catching up with friends that we missed out on last time and lazing around. Gran and grandpa both had holidays so mooch got to spend lots of quality time with them. As soon as we walked in the house it felt like home. Scarlett must have remembered it from the last visit. We came just in time for the cold snap. Luckily I didnt feel the cold as much being pregnant so I didnt suffer too much. Scarlett didnt seem to notice too much and still loved sleeping on the doona intead of under it!

We had lunch with my friend Anitra and Moochie adored her bed. I love the way her bed is high. Cant see it in the pics. Would probably be a disaster if we had one. She'd be falling on her head! We had yummy rice paper rolls for lunch with vegies. It was great to catch up.

This is at the bottom of the driveway. The pony and sheep were having a feed on the other side of the ditch. Scarlett saw so many animals while here. Grandma and Grandpa also took her to Bonorong park where she saw kangaroos and koalas. They took pics and Scarlett and got a special book with photos added from their trip. She loves looking at it! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!

Yummmmmmmmy..... Mooch has a thing about feeding herself. It was so much easier to use her hands! Can you see how excited I was for her to share with me!

A highlight of grandma and grandpas house was the piano. Had so much fun playing it. Had a few tanties thrown when I tried to pull her away though. I would like to get a piano one day for our home but for now we will have to make the most of visiting tas.

Of course all my posts are late!! These pics were taken before Scarlett and I went to Tassie for a week. We made Nick a poster so it would seem like we had never left! It was fun to make. Unfortunatly our property managers told Nick to take it down when they inspected the place even though I especially used white tack to pin it up as to not leave marks on the walls. Boo Hoo.
