christmas day

This is Uncle Ank on Christmas morning. Pud and Ank came for breakfast. Yummy pancakes and fruit. It was then pressie opening time!!

This is our christmas tree. We went with a purple, green and silver theme this year. I would really like a nice bushy tree but that's way down the list of things I want.

Ollie is having a lovely time playing with the shopping bag. We needed some carrots for the reindeer's!!

We put some milk and malteasers out for santa and a carrot for the reindeers on christmas eve and look..... in the morning it was gone. Scarlett's not sure what happened! She didn't even notice the presents!!!!.........

......until I pointed them out!

Before I start telling you about our amazing trip a few things happened before we left. We had a whirlwind November. As well as Essie's wedding and moving, Nick and I went to not one but two concerts. Since being married we havn't been able to afford to do much so this was pretty exciting. We went to the THE KILLERS.... who were awesome! and MUSE.... who were even better!! They honestly sounded brilliant! I have better pics on my phone but I don't know how to get them onto the computer! Anyway drove from Franz Josef Glacier to Christchurch today and leave on Saturday night. We have some Christmas shopping planned tomorrow and Saturday before we head home. I have had a wonderful time but am ready to sleep in my own bed. Hope its not too hot back home!!

hobbiton

This is just a taste of what we have seen since being in New Zealand. We are having such a wonderful time. We spent 8 days in Auckland. We drove down to Hamilton to visit Hobbiton where part of 'Lord of the Rings' was filmed. We are now in Christchurch and are about to head off to Mt Cook tomorrow morning. We are staying at a few different places around the South Island before coming back here and flying home on the 22nd. I can't wait to post some more of our pics. I think we have already taken about 500!!!!

smiles and muffins

Yay! We have finally caught some smiles! It's hard to catch things on camera while madly packing things for the move in 4 weeks. I have to get it done before we go down to Tassie because as soon as we come back we will be moving stuff! I need to let everyone know that I have started back up at the Gym after having the membership put on hold for ages. I have amazingly been at least three times every week! So far, so good! I think I'm doing more exercise than Nick at the moment. Soccer is finished and the 7 a side games have begun on wed nights. So glad to have our Saturdays back! I'm not quite ready to play 7 a side....will hopefully be playing soccer next year though. This is even more amazing than the gym.....cooking!! I cant believe how easy these muffins were to make. One was a packet mix (wheat free) and the others are banana muffins with added pecans. (a recipe I found on the net) Yummy! I really want to make my own snacks and save a bit of money! See how I go.

Poor Ollie...... doesn't have as many pictures as Scarlett so far. I don't have as much time to fuss!! His little tear ducts were blocked when he was born. As you can see one has cleared up and the other is still a little gooby. Should have wiped it before the pic!!

creative streak

Moochie just loves drawing at the moment. Up until yesterday she had only scribbled on the chairs and her little red table other than paper. I cant leave her out of my sight for a minute these days. Yesterday she found a crayon and decided to get creative and draw on the walls all the way down the stairs. She got in trouble and I told her we draw on paper. Unfortunately it did not sink in and I found the hallway wall creatively coloured with dark blue texta this afternoon. Boy did she go to time out this time!! Hope it has sunk in because the gumption didn't get it off! Got to get something tomorrow...

Check this out! We had an interesting day today. This morning we had a swim because it was a hot. The water was beautiful and warm for all of us that meet for playgroup. The short storm was not a suprise after a warm day but the hail was!! Scarlett loved watching... so glad my car was i n the garage because it was hitting quite hard.

Puds birthday

We went out for tai food to celebrate pud's birthday when mum and dad were here. Yum! Moochie was so hyper!! We enjoyed it though and afterwards we had a chocolate cookie icecream cake ....Mmmmmm.....very rich and chocolaty.

I've done it

It's amazing what new things I learn every day on photo shop. Now I can play around with it on the laptop... there is not stopping me!! I have taken over! I'm currently doing scarlett's first year . This is one of the first pages i did. I've completed about 10.

This is the latest. when you see my pages you can see the difference between the first and this. I'll share some more with you later. You are my inspiration Chels!
