To make it no fuss before Christmas we had hot dogs and guests filled their own bag of lollies to take home!

Celebrations no 1

Scarlett spent her birthday at nannies house playing with Elina. She opened more pressies and had birthday cake which Elina helped nanny make. I think she was pretty happy!

I can't believe my first baby has turned 4. Time sure does fly! HAPPY BIRTHDAY SCARLETT!! A day late but the celebrations are still happening... what a lucky girl!

Woo Hoo!

I got some money for my birthday to go clothes shopping. While I had Ollie with me I bought a couple of pairs of shorts (because it is so hot here right now) and I am very excited to say that they were both size 8. I can't remember if I was ever a size 8 in my life. So here are the shorts.... and the body that has worked very hard to shed a few kilos. You know... the ones you put on when you have kids!! Looking forward to spending the rest of the money:)

This is miss Scarlett at her swimming lesson. A couple of weeks ago she got put up to the next level. She is now in the class with the big boys. She is so little compared to them. In the middle shot she is doing free style arms.

Here is Mr Ollie with Kate. She was filling in for his normal teacher who had to run the desk. Ollie is in a class with all boys and behaves like a boy! Here is a picture of what happens when he doesn't listen or sit still. He's a cheeky boy!

What we did while daddy was away

Nick went to Canberra for a Sociology Conference. While he was away we had the School Christmas Concert and My Birthday. Here are the kids on the first few days but after that the kids were a total nightmare... so I have nothing to show. I videoed the Christmas Concert for Nick and have no pics except for the one with nanny. Ollie balled when Santa came to give out presents and Scarlett wouldn't go up to get hers without me!

December

Here is my little advent calendar I have just finished. I got the idea from Here and adapted it to suit. They are supposed to be strung up next to one another but I didn't have anywhere to put them so here is what I ended up doing and they are full and ready to go for the 1st. I also found this really cool advent calendar.

These days....

....i just can't afford to get my hair done often. I made this appointment so my hair would be nice for my birthday and Christmas. It is so refreshing having a trim and colour (Been about 7 mths since I had a cut!). See mum... it's not too short!

Cousins

Scarlett and Ollie had a lovely time playing with Minol when they came to visit. Ollie and Minol played in the little blow up pool. In these pics they were getting teased with the hose by Uncle Minol. Little Minol was not liking it!! It was so much fun hanging out. We miss you! P.S. Look at our beautiful big backyard. Could you imagine a nice pool out there? Wish we had one!
