little ballerina

Ga Ga as Scarlett calls grandma had to chase her out the front the other day. Boy she can run! Do you recognise the tutu? We have pictures of her about 4-6 months old with it on! She found it and wanted to put it on. Funny how it still fitted! She also had a little dance .

family outing

We went on our first family outing about a week ago. We went to roma st parkland in the city. It is full of gardens, grass and ponds. Great for BBQs! As soon as we walked up from the car it started to rain. We raced to an undercover spot but the rain did not look like ceasing!! We waited for a while and then Nick decided to make a run and get the car. We were pretty wet by the time we were all in the car. Fun!! Scarlett grabbed my cap and popped it on in the car. She looks so cute! We had a great day anyway.

Little Oli

Oliver (Oli) George Fuglsang Osbaldiston arrived on the Thursday 9th August, 11.45am. I can still recall Nick saying whilst waiting for a delivery room "sure its not just back pain?" Thats what we thought it was for a while until the midwife said the baby is ready to come after all he wasnt due till the 1st sep. I was so sad I didnt have time for an epidural too!! Scarlett has been such a caring big sister. We're lucky she is so gentle! She still calls him baby and loves to have a hold. Grandma Fuglsang has been such a help. I dont know what I am going to do when she leaves and Nick goes back to work!

nursery

Laughlan and Scarlett sharing the teddy

I am the primary secretary so I get to do fun stuff like take pictures of the kids and pop them in the newsletter. Here are all the children in Scarletts Nursery class. About 4 of the children are around scarletts age. No tears the last couple of weeks touch wood!!

saturday outing

Its a very rare occurance that Nick doesnt have a soccer game on Saturday. I was so excited a few weeks ago to be able to do something other than watch him play. We went for a drive to Ashgrove to pick up some vintage material i bought on sale on ebay. The shop was here in Brisbane so I didnt have to pay for postage! They had some amazing material in the shop but it was so expensive. Scarlett picked a pretty flower on the way back to the car!

On the way home we stopped at the park for a play. she was pretty tired by this stage but still enjoyed a run around!

just like essie

I am being an essie poo at the moment, blogging every now and then. I am getting tired now and vow never to have stairs while pregnant again! Scarlett has been keeping me on my toes too! Over the last month we have been preparing for the new baby. We have had to buy a whole bunch of stuff...yay!! So sad none of it was for me! Anyway one Sunday we took some pictures of Scarlett all dressed up for church. Nick reckons she looks like a little french girl with her hair up. Her hair is growing so quickly! Gonna have to cut her fringe soon or maybe she should grow it. Any suggestions???

Went to the Target Toy sale a couple of weeks ago and I bought some wooden blocks and some other stuff I laybyed for Christmas. Here is the Mooch building a tower.

This is Scarletts new maxi rider. I had been too lazy to put it in for a while until today so it was used as a seat in the car we made out of the pram box. Cool hey! The car has since been used as a toy dump. Scarlett just keeps filling it!
