Sleep

Little Ollie has been sleeping in some funny positions lately. He has also been taking his nappy off a lot. One night I walked in and he was asleep with no nappy on. This has happened a few more times since then.... little rascal! It's not an easy thing putting a nappy on a sleeping child!

what we did overseas while nick was overseas!

We had yummy, yummy lentil curry that Minol made.

We drove Little Minol's car. It had to be put away a few times because it caused fights. Ollie absolutely loves it. We recently went to a friends house who has the same car. Ollie sat on a little girl in the car he was so desperate to have it!!

We had lunch at Richmond Bakery. I had to take them to the Sweet shop. I had money this time!!

How cute are the cousins!

We went to ZOO DOO with Uncle Minol, Aunty Essie and Little Minol. It was lots of fun seeing all the animals. Ollie thought the camels and ostriches were freaky!

We slept in Gaga's car

We ate breakfast and watched cartoons in Grandpa and Gaga's bed.(while mummy was sleeping!!) The only annoying thing about staying with mum and dad is the lack of ABC kids reception in the lounge.

We loved listening to Grandpa's stories before bed. The kids have continued to grab about 10 books every night before bed!

We played at the park with our favourite boy cousin!

Ollie had a ride in the noddy car.

go red!

Don't you just love Adele's pink goalie jersey!

I haven't talked about soccer much this year. We have won every game this year and are on top of the ladder. I am having lots of fun and am playing with lovely girls. Nick has been playing in the over 30's team on Friday nights so I have had a cheer squad every week!!
In Woolworths the Soap and letrtric soda should be next to the stain removers in the laundry isle. The BORAX should be further up the isle with the costic soda(think that's right) and drain cleaners. It's in a container with a red lid. Good Luck!

Super Laundry Powder - recipe...

PREP: 10mins

INGREDIENTS
1 bar of Sard Wonder Soap
2 bars of Pure Soap
2 cups of Borax
3 cups of Lectric Washing Soda

Grate the bars of soap very fine, either by hand or in your food processor. Crush the Lectric Soda a bit (while it is still in the packet) to break up some of the larger crystals. Mix all ingredients together. That is it. Store the powder in an airtight container and use one tablespoon per load.

NOTE:
* You can use generic brand soap if you wish
* You can use 3 bars of pure soap, I like to use 1 Sard Wonder Soap bar because it has stain removing qualities. (If you use only pure soap it will cut the price down to about $6 to make the powder)
*There is no need to use fabric softener with this powder, as the washing soda actually acts as a softener. This saves you more money.
* Always make sure your water level is set correctly so the powder has enough water to dissolve in.
* You can dissolve the powder in a cup of warm water before adding it to your load if you wish.
* All of these ingredients can be found in the 'laundry aisle' of your supermarket.

NOTE: Borax is a product that should be handled with care, kept out of reach of children and stored safely.

A few people have requested the recipe for this awesome washing powder..... I LOVE IT! I got it from www.savingmum.com.au Look there for other excellent ideas!
