2003 - That was the year Nick proposed on holiday in Tassie. I was working at Eagleby State School and living with a bunch of girls at the Taylor St house... doing what any single person does.... play, play, play & work of course!

Scarlett had practically just turned 2 and Ollie was just over 6 month mark. Nick was getting ready to start work at uni and I was just doing everyday stuff.

Who loves to wait for the ending of an episode? Well... I have to wait a whole week to see the ending of two of my favourite programs, Dr Who AND Burn Notice! I am planning on doing the tag next... just had to have a whinge first!!

Colours

Check out the beautiful colours in this jug! Combined, this made a yummy breakfast. I have decided to try the green shake, which in this case consists of apple, raspberries and spinach leaves. ( all blended together with water) I watched the Jamie Oliver program last week about healthy eating . It really made me think a lot about being healthy, feeling good and living longer. I am making a few changes to the way I eat..... I don't eat take out for every meal like most of the people on the show though!! I'm pretty good but could be better!!! Anyway ....more fruit and veg is the way to go........


I bought these flowers at Woollies today... half price. I would have flowers in my house every day if I could afford it! Got to go.... fighting off Ollie

Sunday Best

It has been ages since I have sat down and did some sewing. It all started with the desire to make Ollie a little smock for feeding time... the little punk pulls bibs off and gets so grotty. It has been so hard sewing plastic and fabric together with bias binding!! Will show you the end product if it finally gets finished. I left that frustration to work on this little skirt for Scarlett. Feels so good to complete something.... Here is my little model!!

A year of Birthdays

Today at Playgroup we celebrated everyones birthdays. We played pass the parcel, swapped gifts and ate lots of yummy food. It was a beautiful warm day to play, eat and enjoy each others company.

Best Friend

Hooray! The postman came with my flattie... finally! Mum, Pud and I took the kids to Ikea last week and what a day. Scarlett was in the foulest mood . I got hit in the head with her drink bottle a couple of times, mum got hit and Pud got gouged in the face. The highlight for the day was coming home and finding flattie had not come with us. Scarlett has slept with flattie all her life. He is her best friend so this stressed me out big time. Ikea still haven't found it so I reckon someone has pinched it or it has been swept under something. I quickly ordered a new flattie and told Scarlett they found him and gave him a bath to make him nice and fluffy. Now Ollie can have his flattie back!!! Scarlett went to sleep with Ollie's flattie and we took it when she was asleep. Here's the happiest girl in the world!!

Hooray

Cranky Pants

The whole week that mum came to stay this little munchkin played up. It all started on the way to the airport... crying the whole way. It's so hard to know what is wrong with little children when they are not well. The whole week I thought Ollie's teeth were bothering him. I was up at least twice everynight when Nick was away and then when he got back we had a ripper of a night on Saturday. Ollie didn't sleep in his bed the whole night. Sunday he had crusty stuff all over his ear..........Monday the doctor said he had an ear infection and his ear drum had ruptured! Now we know!!! Luckily he didn't have to have antibiotics because the rupturing helped all the fluid escape. We certainly have a happier little boy now! No more sickness please!

The Tiff

This is what happens when Nick goes away to have fun with the Young Men in Noosa! This has been happening quite often lately. We are so lucky to have mum come and stay with u! Here are the awesome pictures aunt Puddy took with her new camera today while watching the kids play.
