The other day I was eating some soup with a plate of toast sitting next to me when.......suddenly there was Mooch standing next to me grabbing my toast! I was not expecting that! Don't ask about the soccer on Saturday .....

ALL BLACKs rock!

Well done to the All Blacks!! We were the only New Zealand supporters at the party last night watching them win. We had an enjoyable evening eating pizza, watching football and playing! Scarlett had so much fun playing with Emma, Jack and Jade. She was a bright bunny all night until the end when we took a picture of her with Emma.

what's new????

Puddy has been really busy lately working on the regional 'Pride and Predjuduce Ball'. We barely see her! she made this awesome chandelier which is going to be covered with fairy lights. I'll have to get some pics of the finished product. uncle Ank has been to visit too. Scarlett has been hanging out with him and had great fun as you can see! Its raining lots today which is great for our garden. we're on level three water restrictions which means no hoses. Just watering everything with watering cans. I washed the car yesterday with buckets! fun! I'm hoping some of the water gets caught in the dams. I am excited about going to the movies tonight with my friend Sam. Nicks babysitting! It'll be good to get out on the weekend instead of being stuck at home watching DVDs.

We visited Sam and Lily on Tuesday. Lily is about two and a half months younger than Scarlett. Since that tooth has come through Scarlett has taken a liking to rusks. Yum! Yum!

We visited Aunty Shell and Elina last Friday. Look at those red cheeks. I think teeth are not far away! Scarlett cut her first tooth (bottom right) a couple of days ago. Very exciting!!

This is the Elite mens soccer team. Nick has had to play goalie a few times. Here is the star!!! They are not actually doing well this year. I think they should have stayed in division three. Anyhow Nick loves playing.Has a new injury every week....boys are a lot rougher than girls! i just realised that the team photo is last years. Most of the players are the same.

soccer blues

Pud and I played soccer yesterday against West End. We played an awesome first half. We got the first goal but unfortunately they got one after the ball deflected off our girls legs. They also got another goal.....no skill involved on their part though. On the way to the car we walked passed the m and overheard them talking about how they had whipped our little buts. I wish I had a little but!! Not looking forward to playing them again. They were not friendly girls! last week we played a really lovely team called Westminster. We were lucky to win against them in the rain!

On Thursday we went on a family outing to the Gold Coast. Scarlett had a picnic at broardbeach on the grass and then Nick and I had some yummy food at a cafe down the road. Silly me didn't take any pics of the beautiful beach!!!

On Sunday morning we couldn't decide which socks Scarlett should wear to church so we thought maybe she should wear one of each.....and she did! No one said a word about them. I wonder how many people actually noticed? Which ones would you have picked?

out and about

On Saturday Scarlett and I went to the soccer with Nick who thought he might have to fill in as goalie. It turned out they didn't need him so he took the linesman position instead. Scarlett's buddy Ashton was on the sidelines too. Scarlett wanted Ashtons handbag but he wanted it too!! We found out she has also become facinated with grass! Even though Scarlett can't crawl properly she is very good at getting where she wants to go!





On Friday Scarlett and I went to visit Emily Alfred. Emily is having a baby in December. We got to have lunch and look at her new house. Its a nice queenslander with beautiful floorboards. I love floorboards! I served with Emily in young womens.......but sadly they have moved out of the ward. She is a teacher too!!
