HOLIDAYS

This is Scarlett watching me and Julia play soccer! Snug as a bug!! I think she looks like a red tele tubby!

A few weeks ago Esther came up and stayed with us in the school holidays. I have been working Thursdays teaching grade 8 in a Special Education Unit so lucky Aunty Ess got to look after Scarlett for the whole day. Here are some of the things they got up to. Scarlett loves her aunties! Grandma and Grandpa also came up for the weekend to see the Mooch. Ess got her purple belt in Brazilian Ju Jitzu (not sure whether that is spelt right!) while she was here and Anker got his the week later.

I know I'm a little behind in my updates, but I wanted to share these. I've almost caught up! On mothers day we went for a picnic to a dam. Cant remember the name. It was a beautiful day and we managed to take some great shots of everyone. Can you pick which child belongs to who? Scarlett has a little cousin Elina who is two months younger than her. Ava is Scarletts big cousin. Its taken Ava a while to warm up to Scarlett!!

PINK

This is a cute little bonds suit that Lynnie Parsons gave Scarlett. She managed to get a wear before it got cold!

SOCCER

Nick, Julia and I play soccer for a team called Fireside United. There are 6 girls teams in our Div 4. Most of the team have not played before but with training once a week we are improving heaps. It's a fun way to get fit. Man do you have to run!! Julia has got about 5 goals this year. We started of losing and now with wins under our belt we have moved from last place up to thrid last on the ladder. Yay! Nick and Scarlett come and support us girls every Saturday.....yeah we're not too impressed with the colours, but unfortunately the club have had these colours for ever and we can't change them. Julia and I suggested changing to a red with a touch of white.......Pink and Black stripes?? The answer was NO!

Scarlett now sits up all by herself with the occasional tumble. This is a picture of her when she started trying. It was taken about a month or so ago.

EASTER

We spent Easter in Hobart. Scarlett was really excited to see her granny and pa. It was fun catching up with friends and family. We also got to do a little day tripping. We visited the Gorge in Launceston, went to Dover via Carlton Beach and visited the Botanical Gardens. We had so much fun we didnt want to say goodbye. Scarlett got to try out her new beanie and jacket!
