I am....

sitting up while I play now. I used to crawl and then model pose while I played with things. Kitchen utensils are great! Thought I'd pop in a couple of pics from the soccer break up. Pud won BEST and FAIREST! Well Done! She deserved her awards because she was so positive and always put in 100%. plus she scored heaps of goals! We all got these spunky drink bottles too!

On Sunday Nick was giving a talk at church so he was sitting on the pulpit. Cheeky was moving around like she had ants in her pants and as soon and Nick stood up she got so excited and started clapping her hands! It was so cute! She is also getting down of the couch now and likes to be chased up the stairs! Chels, i got some scrapping stickers the other day...just got to print of some photos and I'll get scrappin. Might make something good enough to show you! Our printer's not good. Gotta go get them printed. Where do you get those tins from in the states? Mum and dad are there now having a great time! What else should they be bringing home for us??? Nanny and Pa are off to New Zealand on Friday for their postphoned holiday. Yay!!!

AT the PaRk

At the park with nanny we discovered that Moochie does not like hats on her head. (It's a new thing!) Luckily she kept it on for a little while. It's the new hat grandma bought her. So cute and.... reversible! We had a swing and a slide. The frog was great but........she liked two women doing their tai chi with red fans the most! I also got bitten by an ant and boy did it hurt!

Grandma and Grandpa's Visit

Scarlett loved seeing her Grandma and Grandpa. She also loved that balloon the we got at Esprit. She still has it! Grandpa did two things on his visit. 1. playing with scarlett and.... 2. working on the computer........I hope you are not still thinking about work! Scarlett had great fun with aunty Ess too!

Yay! Grandma and Grandpa are here! They are staying on the lounge floor on those cool futons Essie and Scarlett are putting together above. Sometimes I wish you didn't have to put together ikea furniture.....such a pain!!

Oh I wonder who will come into my life today,

I sit and watch with innocent glee as my Aunty Pud enters the day,
Her eyes light up as the glistening sun,
Those arms appear as tree trunks and I giggle as they dance and flay,
Her smile to me is perpetual fun,
She lifts me up and kisses the sky, promising some time for play,
Her warmth similar to that of mum,
My heart rejoices and my nose wriggles in anticipation as my body she does lay,
Her laugh infectious as she tickles my bum,
I feel her love for me and I know my name she does pray,
Her voice wonderful and her smell yum,

Oh how I wonder when I wake, will I see my Aunty Pud today?

We had so much fun celebrating fathers day with a picnic on Bribie Island. It was a beautiful day too. Scarletts first experience at the Beach!! Oops..... that water is strong! (top pic) Did you hear the news about Steve Erwin dieing by sting ray today? Sad.

Nick and I are very tired after our very first big weekend partying ( our kind of partying anyway!) Our friends Tim and Maryanne are moving back to Sydney so Friday night I went out with some girls for maryanne's going away dinner. We had tai food which was soooo yummy and then hot chocolate and desert at the coffee club. There were about 10 of us. I didn't get home till 12.30am! I havnt been out that late in a long time!!! Saturday night we swaped and Nick went out with Tim and the basket ball boys. He was home earlier than me. A bit tired after waiting up for me the previous night!

Nick and I just love this picture! You can see her teeth. Yum Yum.......I think she actually ate some vegies. We are going through a stage at the moment where she will not eat her vegies. she is living on fruit and cereal. We need to encourage her to eat some meat for iron..... so everybody wish me luck!! I think some more teeth are about to come through too.

We have come to the end of the soccer season. We lost our second last game but ended with an awesome WIN! 4-0. Julia got 1 goal and I set up a great goal....did a little fluky fancy footwork too! It was lots of fun and I hope to play next season. Nick has his last game this Saturday.Scarlett and I will go to cheer him on.

A few words from the Dad and Husband

I know that Bianca usually updates these blogs but hey who says that Dad can't have a go. No one. I just thought it high time that I say something.

Being a father is all I could anticipate (both ways). But I could never foresee the effect on my spirituality that my Daughter could have on me. Just one look into her bright and innocent eyes makes me want to be a better man. I told Bianca tonight that she deserves a stronger father, someone who she can look up to as an example. And that I will be.

But perhaps only because I have such a strong woman behind me. Bianca is for want of a better word, the legs of my chair. She holds me up at times when I am low. This year has been one of serious pressure and stress on my life, but she has been a rock and a solid foundation.
For that I have to be ever grateful. She is a wonderful wife and mother in Israel, just like her mum.

Thats it from me. Just thought that I would post this and surprise the Bink. Hope all is well....
